Paul Gallo
His voice is one of the most recognizable in the state of Mississippi. Paul Gallo has been one of the leading broadcasters in the South since beginning his career in 1969. Born in the Mississippi Delta, Paul traded in the bright lights of Chicago for the opportunity of returning to his home state of Mississippi. His broadcast experience includes over 40 years of on-air work, Network broadcast sales/marketing and consulting, contract negotiations with affiliated stations, statewide and regional marketing for news and sports networks, broadcast ownership and, for the last dozen years or so, host of the number one morning talk show on the SuperTalk Mississippi Network.
Paul joined Telesouth Broadcasting in 1990 as Senior Marketing Executive. Nearly 12 years ago, the company purchased several stations across the state to begin a Mississippi talk network. Paul was appointed General Manager and also agreed to host a fill-in show on a temporary basis. The temporary fill-in show turned into a full time slot mid-day and that turned into the number one morning show in talk radio for Mississippi. So, after a break of around ten years behind the “broadcast desk”, Paul returned to behind the “broadcast mike”.
